The Silent Hill 2 remake may feature an origin story for Pyramid Head

Some stores have started opening pages for the Silent Hill 2 Remake in preparation for future sales. This is not surprising since the developers have promised imminent news, and several achievements for the horror game were discovered on Steam. However, the game descriptions in stores may shed light on some unannounced features of the remake.

For example, the Best Buy website mentioned that Bloober Team will delve into the backstory of Pyramid Head. Many also recalled that an internal PlayStation document that leaked mentioned new content for the remake, which was not present in the original game.

The monster has become a cult figure among Silent Hill fans, but the news was met without enthusiasm. Those who would like to see the backstory of the creature are hoping for a humorous ending or to find out that James (the main character of Silent Hill 2) killed Pyramid Head's family.

The Silent Hill 2 Remake will be available on PC and PlayStation 5. The developers promise stunning graphics and spine-chilling sound design. It's also possible that Konami is working on other remakes.
